International Theory
International Theory at Northwestern encompasses faculty, graduate students, and others with research interests that cross between theory and practice in international relations. This includes work on questions around law, religion, borders, citizenship, security, and more that both depend on and constitute the categories associated with international politics. Researchers in this area present their work and attend talks at a variety of venues, including the international studies series, the IO/IL working group, the IR speaker series, FIG, critical theory, among others.
